Gaming Podcasts - What's out there?

As I've gotten more and more into the boardgaming hobby, one treasure trove of information and entertainment that I've found are the many podcasts floating around out there in the aether of cyberspace.  These are some of my favorites, which I'll give you my own little take on...

Most Entertaining- Not that I don't also find these informative or interesting, but the main draw for me is listening to guys who just love boardgames talking about boardgames.

The Dice Tower - Pretty Much everybody knows who Tom Vasel is, and I still enjoy his show quite a bit. The Dice Tower is full of lots of cool segments and is probably the most professionally done podcast out there.  (Tom Vasel and Sam Healey)

The Spiel - I really enjoy listening to these guys. They also have a cool selection of regular segments, and their love of gaming just oozes from everything they do. I hope to meet them when I go to my first GENCON this year. (Stephen Conway and David Coleson)

Garrett's Games & Geekiness - Doug Garrett (and his wife Shelly) mainly just talk about the games they've played. They have a lot of contacts within the industry, however, and frequently have guests on the podcast.

Little Wooden Cubist - Charley Eastman is a pastor with a passion for games.  His enthusiasm is infectious and his knowledge about games is impressive.  Defenitely an fun podcast.

Most Informative
-
These are podcasts which really get down to the meat of gaming.  They tackle interesting topics and have intelligent discussion that have helped deepen my undertanding of our hobby.

Boardgame Babylon - E.R. Burgess (Sheylon) is probably the most "journalistic" of all the podcasters I've listened to. He has a great sense for a good story or discussion, and I particularly liked his The Demise and Rise of the FLGS series and his show on Women in Gaming

The Metagamers - This is a relatively new podcast, but it has quickly jumped to the top of my download list. Combining advanced strategy and interesting discussions of topics and concepts important to gaming, they are at the cutting edge of gaming podcasting.  (Mark Haberman, Jay Little, Jim Cote)

On Board Games - Another new podcast that has also shown an interest in taking on topics important to the hobby and, more specifically, the community of gamers out there.  Plus, it's chocked full of actual game reviews using their "stoplight" rating system.  (Donald Dennis, Erik Dewey, and Scott Nicholson)

Board Games with Scott - Scott Nicholson performs a great service both to gamers and non-gamers with his regular "explorations" into games of all kinds. Great, entertaining, and informative videos.

Pulp Gamer - This is probably the most prolific podcast being produced right now.  They actually have seperate feeds for industry interviews (Inside Track), boardgame reviews (King's Court), and general discussion (Out of Character).  They sometimes include information on RPG's as well, but I still find them very entertaining and informative.  They are also publishing podcasts of the seminars from GTS this year, which I've found to be terribly interesting. (Don Dehm, Derek Rex, and Jeremiah Lynch)

Have Games, Will Travel - Paul Tevis also runs a really fantastic show which usually brings real insight to the boardgaming hobby. He also discusses independently-published RPG's in about half of his podcasts, which has really renewed my interest in role playing in general as well as making me very interested specifically in these indie RPG's .

The Rest -These are the rest of the podcasts that I listen to.  All of them are pretty good, but some come out too infrequently to really be a "favorite" while others are not totally dedicated to board games.

Roll 2d6 - These guys (Adam and Nate) are great to listen to . They're very entertaining and have good discussions, but they are also a little out-of-touch with the boardgaming industry and don't produce new podcasts very often. Still definitely worth a listen, though.

Boardgames To Go - Mark Johnson runs an excellent podcast, and I've enjoyed pretty much every one that I've listened to. I got the idea for our Game of the Month from one of his early podcasts, in fact. The only problem is that he doesn't actually make new ones very often at all anymore.

The Game's the Thing - A wonderful podcast, except that boardgames only constitute about 1/3 of the podcasts that he produces. At least they give them easy to identify labels, so you can tell at a glance whether it is an RPG or Boardgame episode.

Board Game Speak - Aldie and Derk's podcast based from BGG itself. Since this has been out of production for most of the time I've been getting into boardgames, I haven't listened to it very much at all.
