Thank You, Secret Santa!!!
I had a surprise waiting for me on the front doorstep Thursday night! Being pretty sure that it wasn't my long-awaited, preordered copy of Ascendancy (which has had more release delays than I care to think about), I figured that my BGG Secret Santa had come to town!!!
Tearing into the cardboard box like a monkey on a cupcake, I quickly discovered that SS had given me the stunning new cooperative game Ghost Stories!
Good, I had been looking at this at Hypermind and was hoping I'd get a play test in soon. Of course, I'm just as likely to buy Dominion right now...

Yeah, assuming that I'm able to make it to game night tonight (Gwen's sick, and I'm not sure if she'll be up to taking care of Samantha this evening), I'll bring it and hopefully give it a try. I was hoping to try it out solo (which is officially supported by the game) over the weekend, but never found the time. It certainly looks great, and I've heard that it's a lot of fun.
