One week left...

If you've been working on an entry for my 3rd Blog-i-versary Contest, you've got exactly one week left.  I've got a decent number of entries, but compared to a lot of other contests you could enter, you've still got a very real chance at this one.  And remember, the prize is for $35 towards your next boardgame at GameSurplus!

Speaking of week-long time limits, I just had an image fall off the front page at boardgamegeek.  Despite my "golden image uploader" microbadge, I haven't done a lot of image uploading to BGG lately.  But I made some effort to go through my pictures from the last few months a couple of weeks ago, and finally posted them last week.  Thankfully, a couple of them went over pretty well:

This one is up to a very appropriate 44 thumbs...

and this one is the one that hit the front page with a grand total of 140 thumbs, making it my most popular image ever!

with the caption, "On the Brink of disaster!"

And as always, my readers (or other visitors) can use my images from BGG (I've got 705 as of right now) or any image they find here on GamerChris.com under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 3.0 United States License.  That sounds complicated, but means that you can use them and even modify them for an non-commercial reason, as long as you give me credit for the original image.  And even if you want to use them for a commercial reason, just contact me directly and ask for permission, which I'll probably grant as long as it will help advance the hobby.

The guys at Snackbar Games use your pics for my GU articles whenever possible. Of course, the main editor is Graham.

Yeah...our purpose is technically oh-so-marginally-commercial (we get enough ad and affiliate revenue to cover most costs), but I cleared it last summer. Looking at the next few we're running, they're mostly recent Games of the Month...(heck, the one before this week's was Through the Desert), so you should have some awesome stuff to share. (I have to use official art otherwise.)
