Poop-Eating Cats and New Nurses
Back on Tuesday, I also had the chance to play some games with my New Graduate Nurses. We were supposed to have a picnic to celebrate them nearing the end of the program, but it was cold and rainy, so we stayed inside instead. So while I was able to set up the beanbag toss/corn hole set and play a little of that, most of the activities had to be more "indoor" related.
The big hit of the day was playing Eat Poop, You Cat. I played the production version (Telestrations) a couple of weeks ago at game night, and the do-it-yourself version was just as fun. Of course, there's no winning or losing in this version, but it sure was funny.
In case you don't know how it's played, you're essentially playing the old game of "telephone", where you're trying to get the players to pass a message from one person to another. But the catch here is that you alternate between using words and drawing pictures. So the first person comes up with a sentence or a phrase, the next person draws a picture to convey it, and then the third has to look only at the picture and try to come up with the message again. Do this a few more times, and you rarely get back what you put in.
Just to give you an idea of how it went, here are some of the papers:

The initial picture is priceless...

Sleeping Beauty and her Prince are apparently gonna get "nasty"...

I don't have any idea where the freaking boobies came from...

I started with a reference from our playing Corn Hole, and ended up with a chicken pooping...

"Call, Don't Fall" is the slogan for our fall prevention program at the hospital. I love how it turned into "I'm going to kill you with this machete knife if you do not give me that hot, steaming muffin".
